The cosy home offers room to spread out with 2 bedrooms, an office, 2 living rooms and a laundry. You'll enjoy the woodstove and ocean view from inside and, outside, the landscaping offers an enchanting variety of plants and rockeries. There are two decks, one with view to the ocean and bay,   one with view onto the gardens. You will find everything you need within walking distance - A grocery store/Post Office, Senior Center, Farmer's Market, Health Unit Clinic and Library. Shelterpoint Park and Trails are also close by. Best way to get here? Texada Island is serviced by frequent 35-minute BC Ferry rides from Powell River or, fly in from Vancouver or Qualicum Beach. This is truly a well-loved and tended home-from-home. The kitchen is fully-equipped, there's a huge library of DVDs to enjoy, an office to set up in, wood for the stove, and the sound of crickets and birds to soothe you while you enjoy a coffee or wine on one of the two decks. All you need to do is make your booking and move in! Heat, property maintenance, wood for woodstove, TV with streaming service and basic internet are included. Monthly rate for July and August is $2,800. Otherwise, monthly rate is $2,500. Deposit required. Regretfully, no pets. Maximum 2 guests. Extended stays negotiable.
