I have a few ongoing health issues and am on a special digestive diet and medication that my new home will need to continue with. I need a home to help me slowly put on weight. I can be very nervous around new people and in new environments, my new home will need to help me build my confidence. Being an under-confident and sometime fearful dog may result in some less that desirable behaviours, due to that I cannot be placed in a home with small children, cats, but possible with a very relaxed and confident dog. A supervised dog meet would be required before sending me into my adoptive home. I am new to being harnessed/leashed and walked, I pull VERY strongly. My new paw-rents will need to be strong and fit to be able to handle me. They will need to work with an AnimalKind trainer to work on positive reinforcement training, gradual departure training, leash manners, and general obedience. I am not suitable for a first-time dog owner or busy city life.
