Shelter: BC SPCA - Vancouver Branch Animal ID: 528905 Birthdate: May 22, 2019 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Please note due to the current COVID-19 pandemic our adoption process has changed. Please visit our website https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/how-to-adopt/ for more information. All adoptions are by appointment only once we have received an application. ***Due to the high number of applications we receive for our animals, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their application. We are not able to call all applicants.*** Current travel restrictions within the province of British Columbia mean that we are prioritizing local (Lower Mainland) adopters at this time. ________________________________________________________________ *A behavior counseling session with our Adoption Staff and several meetings with the dogs are necessary before adopting this animal.* Meet Midnight! Midnight is one half of an inseparable duo with her sister Baby. She is a very sweet girl that needs a quiet, stable home with a fenced yard. Midnight loves people and is the more confident of the two, inspiring her sister! Midnight and Baby have tons of love to give, but struggle with over-excitability and severe anxiety. An experienced, confident family is a must. Midnight gets anxious when left alone or separated from her sister Baby. She is getting used to spending time alone slowly a few minutes at a time. Midnight's excitement to meet people often gets the best of her. She can be vocal and jumpy when first introduced to new people, when there is a knock at the door or a noise through the wall. Due to their excitability, Baby and Midnight should not go to a home with children under 16. Baby and Midnight are not suitable for an apartment or shared wall dwelling due their alert barking. They would be best suited to a quiet home with a consistent routine and a fenced yard. Midnight is her best self when she gets lots of exercise, just like her sister she loves to explore outside! Midnight may want to chase moving things like bikes, animals or children. Good obedience training and a confident guardian is essential to her success. If you think Baby and Midnight are the perfect pals for you, apply on our website today!
