Prairie’s Air Sheet Metal Ltd. is currently looking for an HVAC Apprentice. Wage: $32.00/Hourly, 40 hours per week Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Job Title: HVAC Apprentice (NOC 72402) Work Location: 14138 101 Ave, Surrey, BC V3T 4Y2 Duties: • Assist journeyman technicians in service, replacement, and new installation • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications • Measure and to lay out reference points for installation • Learn to measure and cut piping, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment • Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems • Assemble and install air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools • Participate actively in all formal exercises and training to master your trade Required Skills and Experience • Be physically fit for labour intensive work • Be a Self-Starter and problem solver • Intermediate computer skills required • Perform high quality workmanship • Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team Language: English Minimum Education: • Completion of secondary school or a vocational program or one year experience as a HVAC apprentice If you are qualified and would like to apply for this position, please send your resume by email: prairieairhr@outlook.com
