Location: Leduc, AB / Remote Camp Key Responsibilities * Assist in disassembling and reassembling components such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel and exhaust systems, breaks, clutches, differentials, hydraulics, electrical systems and lubrication systems. * Assist in inspecting and testing to detect faults and malfunctions in drill units, diesel compressors, hydraulic support equipment, high-pressure water pumps. * Assist in diagnosing faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required. * Perform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics. * Service attachments and working tools. * Verify and repair emission control systems.Professional Experience / Qualifications * 5 + years of experience with heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic equipment, diesel engines and compressors, high-pressure water pumps, drill units, diesel trucks, crawlers, and pumps * Ability to diligently organize work, make decisions and set priorities * Valid driver's licence * Previous experience working on drilling equipment is a strong asset * Strong interpersonal skills * Complete and pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test (oral fluid)Education * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Must hold Journeyman ticket or have equivalent working experience.Compensation $25.00/hr - $40.00/hr (Based on experience and education level) At Geotech, we pride ourselves in offering a challenging and rewarding work environment.
