Position: Operations Manager Job Summary We are looking for a result driven operations manager who will be responsible for the day to day operations, reporting directly to the Branch Manager. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals, and manage staff effectively. The ideal candidate should be an exemplary example of well behavior and high performance. The candidate should create an exciting work environment, keeping staff motivated and eager to progress. A background in retail management is a strong asset. Responsabilities and Duties: * Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards. * Purchase goods and display in-house brands as much as possible. * Keep stock levels under control and ensure stock rotation while keeping aged stock to a minimum. * Stock replenishment and review perpetual stock / cycle counts. * Report on buying trends, and customer needs. * Develop business strategies to expand store traffic and optimize profitability. * Customer quotes and inquiries. * Finance such as daily debits, and cash/account banking. Arrange for product training on a continuous basis with suppliers. Ensure company procedures are followed at all times. * Conduct performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths. * Deal with all staff and customers issues.Qualifications and Skills: * Motivated and positive attitude.
