(https://bmsgroup.ca) is a Vancouver re-piping company that specializes in residential re-piping, commercial re-piping, and institutional re-piping projects in Greater Vancouver and across the Lower Mainland. We are a family-owned and -operated business since 1986. ABOUT THE JOB: Title of position: plumber Type of position: permanent, full-time Wage: $31.25/hr Benefits: extended medical health and dental after 3 months Location: various job sites in Greater Vancouver area, BC REQUIREMENTS: • 3-5 years of experience in plumbing • Completion of high school • Good command of English MAIN DUTIES: • Study and interpret blueprints to assess material and equipment needs and to determine layout of plumbing and drainage systems, water supply network and waste; • Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections and fixtures; • Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings; • Measure, fit and install pipes, plumbing systems and fixtures as needed; • Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking or soldering, brazing and welding equipment; • Repair and maintain pipes, plumbing and drainage systems for water or other liquids; • Test plumbing systems for leaks, analyse problems and identify appropriate tools and materials for repairs.
