Hotel Night Manager on Duty

Jade Master Management Ltd. dba Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre is currently seeking a Hotel Night Manager on Duty (NOC 62022) Vancouver, BC. Perm, Full Time, Shifts, Weekends Salary: 25.00 CAD/hour Benefits: Extended medical benefit package. Working hours: 40 hours/week Skills requirements: Several years of experience in accommodation services are required, Good English, Customer service oriented. Education: Secondary school. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise, co-ordinate and control the activities of Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre accommodation service clerks at night; • Assign workers to duties, hire and train new staff; • Co-ordinate different activities with other hotel departments as required; • Establish work schedules and procedures, prepare and submit reports; • Resolve customer issues, complaints, problems in a quick, efficient manner to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality service; • Responsible for the supervision and operation of the front office in overnight shifts; • Maintain and monitor inventory of vacancies; • Possess working knowledge and ability to use telephone/online technical support of all hotel computer systems and interfaces; • Requisition supplies and materials, arrange for maintenance and repair work; • Coordinate any hotel evacuations or emergency situations in accordance with hotel policy.
