$30 · Math, Chemistry and Physics Tutor with 2+ years of experience

Hi! My name's Kimiya and I'm an engineering master's student at UBC. I have been tutoring since Fall 2021. I am available to tutor all K-12 subjects, as well select first and second year university math and physics courses (All university level courses would be at $40 per hour instead). I have experience tutoring all levels of high school math, Grade 11 and 12 physics and Grade 11 and 12 chemistry. I have also tutored university Calculus 1, Calculus 2 and Physics 1. From my experience, students are often more comfortable with someone who has taken the courses that they are taking in recent years. Since I took many of the difficult courses that students face pretty recently I remember what it was like to not understand the material so I can better explain the concepts. I am available to tutor high school Math, Physics and Chemistry, as well as first year Calculus and Physics both online and in person! For online sessions, I use my iPad to share my screen and write on the tablet so the student can see.
