WESTMOUNT CONCRETE (2012) LTD. is looking to hire Concrete finishers Greater Vancouver area, BC. Wage: $33.00/hr Permanent, full-time position. Education: Secondary school Skills requirements: - Completion of an apprenticeship program or 1-2 years of work experience; - Good English. Main duties and Responsibilities: • Inspect and clean surfaces and formworks for concrete pouring; • Direct the casting of the concrete into formworks or onto surfaces, level freshly poured concrete; • Compact concrete using power vibrator; • Smooth surfaces according to grade and depth specifications; • Install fixtures in the freshly poured concrete as per blueprints and specifications; • Give desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools; • Apply sealing, hardening and waterproofing components to treat concrete surfaces; • Repair or replace damaged sections of concrete surfaces; • Check the finished product to make sure it meets specifications.
