SiteMax Systems Inc. is looking for a Web Developer to join our growing team. SiteMax started in 2014 as a special project designed for the needs of a commercial general contractor. Company’s address and job location: #205-1080 Mainland Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 2T4 Job responsibilities include: - Develop the structure of the websites/applications, analyze and define the functional and technical requirements; - Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices; - Write and evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems; - Optimize content for websites/applications using a variety of graphics, database, animation and other software; - Create and maintain technical documentation; - Develop test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types; - Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls for websites/applications; - Enhance websites/applications for maximum speed and scalability; - Maintain Web sites functionality, understand the latest Web applications and Web development practices. Skills and requirements: - Completion of a college program in computer science, computer programming, web development or related field; - Minimum 2-3 years of related work experience; - Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.
