Shelter: BC SPCA - West Vancouver Animal ID: 380955 Birthdate: August 27, 2015 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Oscar first came into the BC SPCA's care when he was rescued from a feral colony as a tiny malnourished kitten a few years ago. Besides having to be treated for parasites and a upper respiratory virus poor little Oscar had crooked front legs that had to be splinted as he grew to help them straighten. Now as a handsome tabby adult you could never tell what a rough start he'd had in life. Sadly recently Oscar was returned to the shelter for urinating inappropriately in the home and it was discovered he had a bacterial infection that needed to be treated. It's also possible his litter box issues were partly due to stress so it is recommended that he go to a home without any other animals or small children. A good quality diet will also be important in helping to prevent urinary issues in the future. Oscar's a friendly guy who loves pets. He can be a bit timid or shy initially with new people and environments but has really come out of his shell at the shelter and is a staff and volunteer favourite for pets. Oscar is hoping to finally find his forever home to get permanent cuddles in. He enjoys the finer things in life like elaborate cat naps and windows with a view. Check out Oscar today and see if he's the guy for you!
