Long Haul Truck Driver

Panda Transportation Ltd is looking for qualified long haul truck driver Employer: Panda Transportation Job Position: Long Haul Truck Driver, Full time, Permanent Office Location: 183-9133 Government st, Burnaby BC V3N0B1 Work location: Candidates are required to drive to various Locations in North America Benefit: MSP, Extended health and Detal after 3 months of employment Salary Rate: $24.00 ~ $25.00 per hour / 30~40 Hours per week Start date: as soon as possible Duties: Operate and drive primarily long-combination vehicle and straight-body trucks to transport goods and materials over long distances Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and cold storage Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain log books Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices and on-board computers Qualifications: * Class 1 or A Driver's license is required * Air brake endorsement is required * Able to communicate in English * Completion of secondary school is required If you meet the requirements above and are interested in this position, please send your resume by e-mail pandatransportationhiring@gmail.com This position is also open to Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities and new immigrants (comers).
