Gypsy * In Foster - Domestic Short Hair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - West Vancouver Animal ID: 457382 Birthdate: March 23, 2015 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Gypsy is a beautiful girl with loads of personality. The shelter environment is a bit too busy for her, so she is now is a foster home settling into home life. She seems to be more comfortable with a calm home with a consistent schedule. The foster home has updated us that Gypsy loves cuddling in bed at night and really enjoys the company of people being around and but also does well being alone when your at work. Gypsy was originally found as a pregnate stray cat and put a lot of her energy into caring for kittens. It is now her turn to be a kitten and have fun. She might not have had too much socializing with people while wandering the streets, as she tends to be nervous of new people. She is very outgoing and is always curious but needs time to get comfortable with being touched. We feel Gypsy may do well with an properly matched male cat but she isn't a big fan of other animals. Gypsy has a lot of energy and is looking for someone to play with. While in our care Gypsy has been learning new things like clicking training. It would be beneficial for her new guardian to continue with clicker training to help with bonding with her and to keep her exercising her brain. Gypsy is VERY smart and learns new things quickly. Some of her favorite past times also includes lounging in the sun, telling you about her day and playing with toys; treats are also encouraged!
