Selling my well functioning Ford Explorer. The reason why I am selling it is that I am moving back home to Denmark. This car is in very good condition for its age. Since I bought it in February I have had it serviced twice and had two oil changes done. Why two oil changes in such a short period? Well I got an extra complementary oil change from Canadian tire, so when you take it over it will be newly serviced and checked. Issues: The car does have some issues, but they are superficial and do not deprive the cars driving ability 1) Odometer and middle light in dashbord does not work 2) Hatch works but it at times needs to be assisted because the hydraulic arm on the left side holding the hatch is getting worn. 3) Foot steeps on either side are in bad condition so they cannot be used, but it is still easy to get in and out of the vehicle. Maintenance: I had the car inspected on Maj 19 2019, and the mechanics only found the following maintenance issues with the car that does not impair its driving ability. In other words the car is in really good condition: 1) Head Lamp restoration (they just need a clean) 2) Power Steering flush 3) Remove and replace spark plugs 4) Differential fluid exchange 5) Coolant fluid 6) Brake Hydraulics If you are interessted in seeing the car I can produce the report together with the cars original handbook and service history. History of the car: Before I bought it, it was owned by a nice old lady that had had it for 20 odd years and in all those years she hardly drove it which is evident on the odometer reading. Furthermore, she had it parked in a garrage so the car looks very good even after all these years and especially after a wash. This has been a long description but I want to be honest about the state of the car. Buying a used car can really feel like a lottery but I feel that this is a good ticket and a fair deal taking things into consideration. If you have any questions please write me an email.
