Qualicum Sushi is looking for a positive, hardworking COOK! Job Title: Cook Employer: Qualicum Sushi Wage: $15 ~ $18 per hour (depends on experiences) Employment Status: Permanent, Full-time 40 hours per week Working Location: 133 West 2nd Avenue, Qualicum Beach, BC, V9K 1S7, Canada Benefits: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay Position Available: 1 Duties: * Prepare and cook menu items according to our specifications * Handle daily food quality, quantity control * Maintain inventory and records of foods, supplies and temperature of fridges * Keep the kitchen and work area clean all the time * Uphold and maintain food safety, high standards of sanitation and cleanliness Qualifications: * Completion of secondary school is required. * Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks Or Completion of College or other program in cooking Or Several years of commercial cooking experience are required. * Basic English skills are required Please Do Not Call regarding the posted position.
