RENTAL PERIOD Available May 1 - August 31, 2024 THE BEDROOMS Two clean, cozy bedrooms that are quiet and have lots of natural light. Heated from inside of the room. There is a lock on the doors. Both rooms have a queen bed with a new mattress (picture of one room shows a twin bed but there will be a queen bed in this room.) THE BATHROOM Deep soaker bathtub, shower, ample counter & storage space. It is shared with one other roommate. THE HOUSE Clean, large, bright, pet-free, allergen-free, smoke free home with a large deck facing the front with Mt. Benson views. There is a shared laundry room and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, stove, microwave, and cupboard space. For those who have a car, there is ample street parking available. It is a one-minute walk to the bus stop. BIKE STORAGE There is a secure bike lock area at the back of the house. THE LOCATION We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood, close to VIU, Nanaimo Aquatic Center, Buttertubs Marsh, Westwood Lake, Parkway Trail, and other great running/walking trails. Grocery shopping, cafés, and restaurants are less than a 5-minute drive away. Downtown old city quarter is a 20-minute walk from our door. The VIU campus is a pleasant 8-minute walk away through a park. It is also a 30 min walk to the new passenger ferry to downtown Vancouver. THE ROOMMATES A total of two roommates in their 20's and a couple in their 40's who are the owners. We are into yoga, paddling, trail running, relaxing, outdoor adventures, and quiet time after 10 pm. We are respectful of one another's privacy. Rent includes high-speed Wi-Fi internet, fortis and professional cleaning every month. You would be splitting the cost of hydro with the other roommates, which is about $50 / month.
