Victoria Sushi is now hiring a food service supervisor. Employer: Victoria Sushi Japanese Restaurant Position: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6311) Working Location: #10-15 East Royal Avenue, New Westminster, BC, V3L 5R3 Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time & Permanent) Wage: $14 - $15.50 (Depends on experience) Benefit: 4% of vacation fee or 10 days paid vacation after one year of employment Vacancy: 1 Main Duties: * Supervise restaurant services, * prepare work schedules and train staff, * ensure food and service meet quality control standard, * maintain that food and equipment inventories, * ensure that food safety regulations are respected. * Record total daily sales, * Inspect dining areas and utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met. Qualification: * Completion of secondary school education is required. * Completion of a community college program in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline is required, or Several years of experience in food preparation or service are required. * Interpersonal communication and problem solving skills are needed.
