Shelter: BC SPCA - Vancouver Branch Animal ID: 523912 Birthdate: February 08, 2019 - Juvenile Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Please note due to the current COVID-19 pandemic our adoption process has changed. Please visit our website https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/how-to-adopt/ for more information. All adoptions are by appointment only once we have received an application. ***Due to the high number of applications we receive for our animals, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their application. We are not able to call all applicants.*** Current travel restrictions within the province of British Columbia mean that we are prioritizing local (Lower Mainland) adopters at this time. -------------------------------------------- Meet Elsa! Lovely Elsa came into our care after she was found as a stray. Elsa clearly wasn't well-socialized wherever she was before as she was quite nervous of people when she first arrived. Now she is slowly becoming much more relaxed and will happily accept treats from you and some gentle pets on the forehead. Elsa will need someone who knows rabbits and will be willing to continue with her socialization and be patient with her progress. She will need a calm, loving home who will be alright if she perhaps never becomes a cuddly rabbit. This bunny is quite the quick learner and is already getting the hang of using her litter box like a pro so she would definitely do well as a free-roam rabbit. If you think you can offer Elsa the greatest home that is calm, loving, and patient, then fill out an application for her on the BC SPCA website today! Please note: rabbits do NOT belong in cages. Please see the the BC SPCA care guide for a suitable guinea pig set up: https://spca.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/rabbit-care-guide.pdf
