All adoptions are by appointment only once we have received an application. ***Due to the high number of applications we receive for our animals, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their application. We are not able to call all applicants.*** Current travel restrictions within the province of British Columbia mean that we are prioritizing local (Lower Mainland) adopters at this time. -------------------------------------------- Meet Iris, Nike, and Ivy! These three girls are a bonded trio looking to find a forever home together! Iris and Ivy originally came in from a large seizure of guinea pigs after they were found living in terrible conditions. They went into foster for socialization and went on pregnancy watch and lo and behold, Iris gave birth to Nike! These girls can be a little shy initially, but once they feel safe in their environment, they like to run around their enclosure and chase one another. They also LOVE their greens and vegetables which will be a great way for their new home to bond with them. Since they are on the shy side, they shouldn't go to a home with really young children as they're not huge fans of being handled; they will accept gentle pets on the forehead though. If you think you can offer a wonderful, loving home for Iris, Nike, and Ivy, then fill out an application for them on the BC SPCA website today! Please note: guinea pigs do NOT belong in cages. Please see the the BC SPCA care guide for a suitable guinea pig set up: https://spca.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/guinea-pig-care-guide.pdf
