We are not able to call all applicants.*** Current travel restrictions within the province of British Columbia mean that we are prioritizing local (Lower Mainland) adopters at this time. -------------------------------------------- Poppy is the more "docile" guinea pig between the pair. She doesn't mind so much the snuggles. She's pretty easy and doesn't cause much of a disturbance! I do think Poppy is the "alpha" pig- and she does tend to nip Holly when she wants something. Holly- good luck trying to even catch her to pick her up. She's fast and nimble and doesn't love to be "caught" or held very much. Holly likes to "scream" for food- i've taught them that if it's not feeding time i whistle back and them and they stop, and hide. As both girls were never really socialized to be pets at a young age- they don't play like your typical guinea. They pretty much just like to hang out in a box with a blanket or towel inside of it- a lot of the videos and things i saw on groups were much different than what these 2 do all day. Neither of them ever did the typical guinea pig "pop corn" or really ran around even with free space to roam. they do like blankets and towels to lay on and not so much the pellets. Neither one of them were bothered much by my dog- who was always in their face. they both love cilantro, romaine lettuce and parsley. not so big into fruit. Both piggies were fine with my 3 year old- Poppy just sits but Holly is the harder one to get to just sit still. Holly was really into my dog- both were neither bothered by them but she was more brave and liked to smell his face.
