We are looking for an experienced Biochemist to join our team. Position: Biochemist (Permanent) Wage: $70,000/year Working hours: 40hrs/wk Employer: CTK Research & Development Canada Ltd. o/a CTK Bio Canada Working location: #102-6628 176A Street, Surrey, BC, V3S 2A7, Canada Benefit(s): Canadian Life Insurance will be provided upon completion of 3 months of employment. 10 days paid vacation upon completion of 1 year of employment. Vacancies: 1 Job Duties, but not limited to the following: • Act as technical consultant and advise in a specific field of expertise, • Analyze, synthesize, purify, modify, and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds, • Conduct research into the synthesis and properties of chemical compounds and the mechanisms of chemical reactions, • Conduct research to develop new chemical formulations and processes and devise new technical applications of industrial chemicals and compounds, • Conduct research to identify, develop, refine, and evaluate new products such as those used in nanomedicine, nanoelectronics and other chemistry-related applications • Create and implement analysis programmes to assure the quality control of raw materials, chemical intermediates, or finished goods. Qualifications: • Completion of master's or doctoral degree or equivalent experience • 3-5 years of previous work experience is required. • English written and verbal communication skills.
