Hey there! Currently looking for a housemate to move in with me to my sunny, two-bedroom apartment in Kerrisdale. About me: I am a master's student at UBC. My coursework is all online right now, so I am working from home! I'm into rock climbing, running, drawing, and guitar, and I'm trying to get back into skiing! I'm pretty quiet, easygoing, and I keep common spaces clean. My social bubble is small. About you: A student or young professional. You have a lifestyle compatible with living with a work-at-home student. You're clean, respectful, and communicative, and are conscious of social distancing. A plus is if you are down for an occasional adventure or beers together on our patio! About the place: The apartment is a super sunny two-bedroom second-story walk up. The building has a washer+dryer right down the hall. Your unfurnished bedroom is approximately 9'x16' and gets all-day sunshine. The shared living spaces include the bathroom, a spacious kitchen (equipped with gas range, oven, microwave, dishwasher, some dishes and cooking supplies, convection oven, refrigerator), and a living/work-at-home room. There is a large patio and it's south-facing so it gets all-day sun, but it's also covered so you can sit outside on rainy days, too! The location is PRIME-- in the heart of Kerrisdale, very close to bus lines to both UBC and downtown; right off of the Arbutus greenway. There is covered bike lock-up and the area is really bikeable. There are several produce stores across the street and a grocery store just a couple blocks away. About the rent: Rent is $895 with hot water and gas included. Wifi and electricity are extra, but generally do not amount to much. This is a 1-year lease available starting December 1st 2020, and the application calls for references and proof of employment/student status.
