A Taste of Ukraine Catering Ltd. has an opening for a Food Service Counter Attendant. Greater Vancouver area, BC Permanent, full time, shifts, weekends Salary: $15.65/hr No experience required, we will provide the training. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused people to join our great team. Skills requirements: good English, strong customer service skills Education: some secondary school Main duties: • Greet and serve customers at the counter; • Operate a cash-register to ring in orders and purchases; • Maintain a knowledge of available products, provide customers with details; • Cut, slice and trim food products; • Use manual and electric appliances, reheat prepared food items; • Portion and package take-out food; • Stock refrigerators and shelves, and keep records of the quantities of products sold; • Clean and sanitize work surfaces, appliances and equipment; • Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment.
