Head Chef (Rio Brazilian Steakhouse LTD)

Rio Brazilian Steakhouse is looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team. Job Title: Head Chef (Permanent) Employer: Rio Brazilian Steakhouse LTD Working Location: 2729 Barnet Highway, Coquitlam, BC, V3E 1K9 Working Hours: 40 hrs/wk (Full-time) Wage: $19.00 to $20.00 / hour (To be negotiated) (Overtime pay will be paid at 1.5 times your regular wage for the time over 8hrs/day and over 40 hrs/wk.) Benefits: 4% vacation fee or 10 days paid vacation Position Available: 1 Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintain records of food expenses, consumption, sales and inventory, • Analyze operational costs and other information, • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, • Supervise and train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food and ensure food meets quality standards, • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities in establishment. Qualification: • Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience required. • Several years of experience in commercial food preparation required. • Ability to communicate in English is required.
