Handsome Roswell had a bit of a rough start to life, but it hasn't slowed him down! Roswell came into BC SPCA care through our Animal Protection Department, and is looking to live a spoiled life where his home will treat him like one of the family. Roswell primarily lived outdoors in his previous life, and so far is really enjoying his transition to being an indoor dog. Although we didn't know if he had ever been given toys, blankets, beds etc...he has made it clear he loves them now! Roswell is a playful goof at heart, but due to his up-bringing, he is very nervous in new settings and around new people. His future home will need to be comfortable working through his fearful behaviour to build confidence. He will need an *adult-only* home with no other animals, although he may do well with slow introductions to dog friends in the future once settled. Roswell is currently learning to walk on leash for the first time, and the world can be a big scary place. He's going to need help discovering that new things can be exciting, and considering he was an outdoor dog, everything inside is new to this big guy! Once Roswell knows you, you're destined to fall in love. Gaining this boy's trust feels so special, and we know he's going to be an incredible best friend to whoever is lucky enough to take him home.
