Liam - Domestic Short Hair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Vancouver Branch Animal ID: 548592 Birthdate: May 14, 2020 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Male This is Liam! Liam came the the shelter with his friends after their owner could no longer care for them. He has lived for the first part of his life with minimal human contact and handling so he can be shy and avoid people at first. Upon approach Liam may hiss or hide but once you offer him a tasty treat or wet food his attitude changes quite quickly. He would love a quiet home with no kids or dogs but he could enjoy a home with another cat who he could bond with. Liams ideal home has someone with patience and dedication who is willing to work long term with him and who is not swayed by his initial standoffish or fearful behaviour. Liam would be best suited as an indoor cat in his next home but would love some safe outdoor access like a catio. This boy will need a family to has the time and patience to work with him to get him to trust humans. It may take a while for Laim to get used to living with humans and being socialized but we know it will be worth it!
