Duncan Lanes Bowling Center is a licenced facility offering 20 lanes of 5- and 10-pin bowling. We specialize in family entertainment, league bowling, and hosting group events including adult/corporate functions & kids birthday parties. We are looking for one or two individuals to join our team for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening shifts plus possible fill ins during the week. Responsibilities/Duties Include: · Bartending and serving drinks · Greeting customers in a courteous and professional manner · Providing customers with accurate information on bowling, drink and snack bar options · Handling cash, using a POS system, assigning and coordinating lane placements · Cleaning tables and bowling areas after each group, and keeping the center tidy · Answering phones and scheduling reservations · Opening/closing activities (depending on shift) · Providing great customer service to ensure guest satisfaction and safety Skills Required: · Bartending and serving experience an asset · Must be legal age to serve alcohol · Able to provide friendly customer service · Able to use a point of sales (POS) system · Serving it Right required, and Food Safe certification an asset · Customer service experience is an asset · Ability to work within a team environment and follow directions as required · Available Friday and/or Saturday evenings until midnight and/or Sundays until 9pm What we offer: · Competitive wages · On job training · Tip splitting during each shift · Free open play bowling for staff · Commitment to a safe, fair, equitable, diverse and inclusive work environment
