Title: Electricians Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time (30-40 h/w) Wage: 28.50/h Position: 1 Location: Coquitlam, BC Company Profile: Command Electric Ltd. offers a variety of electrical services in both the commercial and residential sectors. We are now in search of a competent and capable electrician with years of experience in construction and renovation projects. Job Description and Responsibilities: - Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors - Apply or replace brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment - Replace or repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and - Install and repair switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels or other distribution equipment - Update lighting fixtures and electrical control equipment - Form circuits by splicing, joining, or connecting the wire to fixtures and components - Apply equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of the system, following installation, replacement, or repair - Investigate and troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and set apart or repair and replace faulty components - Complete fire alarm system wiring - Set up air conditioning system, audio and visual communication equipment, and signaling devices by fusing and operating an electrical power - Set up other residential services such as hot tubs and spa, sliding or swing gate openers - Maintenance of commercial buildings’ electrical system such as supply power for exhaust fan makeup air and air condition and repair minor fire alarms’ impairment - Conduct and keep regular records of preventive maintenance programs Employment Requirements: - Completion of electrical engineering degree or post-secondary training courses - Minimum 2 to 3 years of related experience - Performing electrical services in home developments, large renovation or restoration projects How to apply: Email resume to: commandelectricrecruit@gmail.com As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we encourage applications from all qualified individuals and specifically applicants from traditionally underrepresented groups – including Indigenous persons, vulnerable youth, newcomers, and persons with disabilities – who may contribute to the continued diversification of our organization.
