You will operate, assist and coordinate the operation, maintenance, servicing of plant refrigeration facilities and equipment in cold storage areas and controlled atmosphere rooms. Salary: $35/hr for 4th Class Power Engineer $37/hr for 3rd Class Power Engineer $30/hr for Refrigeration Operator Benefits: Union benefits plan. Pension plan. Tool allowance $0.50/hr added Overtime opportunities. Shifts: 4 days on, 3 days off, Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday. Day/afternoon shifts. 6:30am-4:30pm or 5:30am-3:30pm depending on the plant location. Requirements: Have a valid Refrigeration Operators or 4th Class Power Engineer ticket. Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation. Experience working with ammonia an asset, must be prepared to attend ammonia awareness training. Safety conscious and comfortable working at heights.
