Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position would be responsible for estimating and planning mechanical maintenance work, and ensuring that all scheduled work, major equipment overhauls and unplanned work outages are performed safely, efficiently and with no environmental impact. Shifts: Mon-Fri, with the expectation for overtime in the busy season. Education: Red Seal or BC Provincial Millwright certification. Maintenance Planner Certification/Designation preferred. Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in a heavy industrial maintenance field, including experience related to asset reliability in a complex process facility (Chemical plant, Oil & Gas, etc.). Minimum 2 years of experience applying maintenance principles, concepts and practices related to maintenance planning, scheduling, coordination and optimization. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), SAP preferred. Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of regulations relating to vessels, boilers and piping. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Medical, drug and background check required.
