Operations General Manager

POLAR EXTERIOR INC. (construction company) is looking for an Operations General Manager Permanent, full-time position Greater Vancouver area, BC Compensation: $115,000 CAD annually (approx. $55.29 CAD per/hour) Hours of work: 40 hours per week Requirements for the position: • Experience: 3-5 years of work experience as a senior manager / department manager / general manager or in a similar position is required; • Education: completion of a 2-3 year college program is required. A bachelor's degree would be an asset; • Language: English, good business communications skills. Main duties and responsibilities: • Manage, control and evaluate company's operations, establish and implement growth strategies and business development; • Formulate, determine and implement company's objectives and policies, oversee construction projects performance timelines and schedules; • Represent the company, meet with clients, negotiate and sign new contracts; • Manage and co-ordinate recruitment strategy, communication and training strategies, workforce planning and forecasting; • Select and supervise middle managers and subcontractors, co-ordinate their work; • Establish financial and administrative controls, oversee company's budget and optimize expenses; • Analyze financial data, evaluate performance and productivity, improve company's revenue.
