Food Service Supervisor (Deacon's Corner)

Deacon’s Corner is looking for an experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. Job Title: Food Service Supervisor (Permanent) Employer: XCCL Hospitality Management Ltd. o/a Deacon’s Corner Working Location: 101 Main Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6A 2S5 Working Hours: 35-40 hrs/ wk (Full-time) Wage: $18.50 / Hour (Overtime will be paid at 1.5 time the regular wage after 8hrs/day and after 40hrs/wk.) Benefits: 10 days paid vacation or 4 % vacation fee Vacancies: 1 Job Duties: - Prepare staff and the restaurant prior to customer arrival. - Establish methods to meet work schedules - Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage. - Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures. - Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. - Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding food quality, service. - Monitoring food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.
