Salary: $40 – $44 depending on experience Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package Shifts: Monday – Friday days with occasional overtime available Education: Marine Mechanic Technician or OEM factory training an asset Pleasure craft license an asset A valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract are required Experience: 3+ years experience in marine service (other industries will be considered with service writing/service management experience) OEM knowledge and experience (Cat, Mercury, Cummins, etc) Estimating and sales experience Skills and Abilities: Passion for boats and the marine industry Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair understanding Inventory, catalog, and ordering parts Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, flexible, and willing to research being a lifelong learner Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and positive attitude Ability to complete tasks in a safe and timely manner Duties and Responsibilities: Support the service, maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of boat engines, running gear, and onboard yacht systems (electronics, watermakers, HVAC) on-site and in the field Coordinate and plan the provision of necessary resources, parts, and logistics for service projects, ensuring that the process is seamless, from quotation to invoicing Travel between client locations and customer’s yachts throughout the Vancouver area (company vehicle or travel reimbursement provided) Build and maintain positive client relationships by ensuring continuous professional communication Ensure top-quality service is delivered and that safety and environmental issues are competently managed Other duties as required
