SEEKING HOUSING and CARING CAREGIVER/ COMPANION for a healthy, high functioning woman in her late 50's with Down syndrome in the South Surrey/White Rock area. Housing requirements include a large bedroom (or bdrm & den) with private or shared bathroom in home with caregiver. She has her own furnishings. This adult is neat & organized, independent & easy-going & able to prepare her own breakfast & lunch with groceries on hand. The caregiver is expected to provide a daily nutritious dinner meal. This adult maintains her own daily personal & self-care needs with caregiver providing oversight to ensure optimum health and wellness. This adult partakes in daily organized outings, the caretaker is expected to administer transportation via HandiDart. The caregiver would also plan additional outings & crafts that they participate in together. Local family of adult will provide respite to caregiver.
