Casual (on call) Community and Residential Support Workers (CSW and RSW) Community Support Worker Certificate or equivalent Minimum 1-year experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities and/or physical disabilities; Experience delivering recreational, social, vocational and /or life skills training A strong commitment to ensuring that the rights of people with developmental disabilities and other stigmas, living and working in the community are protected and respected Physical ability to work with lifts, transfers and wheelchairs Experience in providing personal care Demonstrated creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills Excellent oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communication skills in English; Personal suitability for the job: Experience providing behavioral supports Ability to be self-motivated while working independently and effectively as a part of the staff team Must have creativity with stimulating program planning and promoting activity Experience in providing positive behavioural supports and personal care Crisis management training and experience Excellent time management and organizational skills; Computer literacy including use of Social Media, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access First Aid and CPR Certificate Class 4 Drivers' License (must obtain within 3 months of being eligible to obtain) and use of own personal vehicleAs per collective agreement grid level 10 starting at $21.63 to $25.19 To apply please email:recruit@uniti4all.com To listen to a live presentation November 1st, 2021 at 11:00am and learn more about the above opportunity please visit; https://events.blackpress.ca/central-mainland/ to register.
