This position provides manicures, pedicures and various nail treatments based on clients' nail care needs and preferences. The Nail Technician uses their emotional intelligence and professional training to identify the best treatment and product options to bring joy and relaxation to our guests and maximize their overall experience. Specific Skills Requirements: 1) Manicurists and Pedicurists Skills - Clean, trim and polish nails - Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions - Old nail polish removal 2) Nail art designs and technics Additional Skills: - Effective interpersonal skills: friendly and client-oriented - Attention to detail - Proper sterilization of the working area to ensure health and safety - Schedule and confirm appointments when needed - Manual dexterity Education: - Completion of a training course from a nail program/esthetics school - Completion of a general highschool Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of related work experience Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time Start date: As soon as possible Language of work: English Wage: $17.50/hour Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week Location of work: Chemainus, Vancouver Island, BC. No remote work available. Other requirements: Must be able to work in Canada legally.
