Interior designer

Eurohouse Interiors Inc. is looking for an Interior designer. Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week) Wage - $ 26.50 CAD per hour Benefits: Pacific Blue Cross health insurance. Main duties: • Communicate with clients, determine the client's preferences, goals and requirements for the project; • Create interior spaces, develop design concepts and preliminary design plans; • Advise on selection materials, lighting and furnishings, adjust and coordinate preliminary plans with clients; • Develop plans and specifications for the final interior designs in accordance with current practices and codes, create detailed 3-D models using interior design software; • Estimate cost of projects and develop detailed plans, elevations, cross sections and other drawings and specifications; • Create sketches of kitchen cabinets and other furniture for client confirmation, followed by detailed working drawings for production/fabrication; • Oversee construction and coordinate construction works with management to implement the plans and specifications for the project; • Work in a multidisciplinary environment. In order to succeed in this role, you will need: • To have at least 1-2 years of experience • Good English • College diploma. Bachelor degree would be considered an asset.
