Early Childhood Educator

We are looking for qualified Early Child Educator Centre name: Academics prekindergarten Westwood Inc. Position: Early Childhood Educator, Permanent, Full-time Where to work: 1123 Westwood Street Coquitlam, BC, Canada, V3B 4S4 Compensation and working hours: $18.00 ~$20.00 per hour, 40 hours per week Benefit: Group Insurance Benefits Qualification or requirement: - Completed Early Childhood Education Diploma - Have BC Early Childhood Educator License - Have Valid First Aid Certificate - Able to communicate in English Main duties: - Guide children in the development of proper eating, dressing, toilet habits, etc - Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs - Conduct activity programs designed for young children - Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports. - Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents - Recognize and understand child development stages - Maintain and update individual record of children - Supervise both indoor and outdoor activities - Maintain healthy, secured and well-being environment - Regularly communicate with parents regarding children's development need and learning Thank you for your interest and if you would like to apply for this position, please, send your resume by e-mail mhayer@academicsprek.com
