Fraser Montessori Daycare in BC is seeking qualified Early Childhood Educator. Job Position: Early Childhood Educator, Permanent, Full-time Job Location: 1917 Marine Way New Westminster, BC V3M 2E4 Wages: $18.00 per hour, 30~ 40 hours per week Required Experience and qualification: - Early Childhood Education Diploma - Valid BC Early Childhood Educator License - Valid First Aid Certificate - Good communication skills in English Key Responsibilities: -Care and guide children positively and respectfully -Develop child-care programs related physical, emotional and social development of children -Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, etc. -Able to plan and conduct activity programs for young children -Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor -Ensures the safety of all children in the Centre -Able to understand child development -Acts to the individual needs and learning styles of children -Ensures that children are supervised at all the times as well as in the washroom -Plans and provides appropriate activities to assure smooth transitions throughout the day If you meet the requirement and would like to apply for the position, please send your resume by e-mail frasermontessori@gmail.com
