Adopt Penny - 4 year old sweetheart

Penny is like the cool aunt in a tv show - beautiful, sweet, everyone loves her, but she has had some things happen which have caused her to have some baggage. Originally this gal is from Saskatchewan and she had a hard start to her life - she has a permanent scar around her neck, we aren’t entirely sure the cause but something that was used as a ‘collar’ did it. Despite what humans have done to her in the past she will warm up to you quickly and once she fully trusts you she will want lots of snuggles. She loves going on long walks around town or in the forest. She happily wears a muzzle just like any collar or harness. We would like her future home to be pro-muzzle and understand that the fact that she wears one doesn’t mean she is bad dog or mean, it means she is fearful and sometimes is mistaken about when she needs to protect herself. This gal would thrive with an experienced dog-owner that lives life on the quiet side.
