ADOPT: 1 year old female Husky - Sky

Sky was found as stray around Christmas 2021. She was fit and healthy! Currently in foster with a 4 month old rescue, they’re having a ball together! Sky can be left alone free range, alone in her crate she gets quite distressed. This makes us think she was crate trained before her escape/being released for long periods of times. But if she is crated with humans around, she is fine! Sky is a typical young husky girl — cute as a button, into everything and everyone. When she first meets other dogs, she can be quite cautious, but after 5 minutes loves playing and snuggling. Sky has recently been moved foster + some signs of separation anxiety have started to develop and she can be quite vocal (in true husky style). She likes to sleep in a wire crate if the door is open, if it’s closed she gets stressed. After 24 hours of getting adjusted to a new space, she seems to settle in. Spending times with other dogs for the first day or so is a little rocky, but with patience she gets there. She just wants to play 24/7. Sky is also great on walks with kids and other dogs, she plays with the neighbourhood kids. But of course, proper intros at first is still a must! Not cat tested.
