Clifford - Leonberger Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Burnaby Branch Animal ID: 553362 Birthdate: August 06, 2018 - Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Male Meet Clifford! This big loaf came into our care as a stray and was never claimed. Clifford is a gentle giant. When he first came into our care Clifford took some time to warm up to staff. Clifford has shown to be uncomfortable when it comes to too much over handling so someone who respects his space is ideal. Clifford would do better in homes with older children or adult only. Once Clifford settled into the shelter he became quite anxious. He would do well in a home that has a flexible schedule and can continue to work on his anxiety. Once Clifford warms up to you he is a very sweet and friendly dog, he could be a good candidate for running, swimming and hiking. Clifford seems to get along with other dogs and could possibly live with one. We do not know how he would do with cats. We are still learning about Clifford so watch for updates!
