Holly - Anatolian Shepherd Dog

Shelter: BC SPCA - Abbotsford Branch Animal ID: 540937 Birthdate: July 29, 2020 - Young Adult Spayed/Neutered: No Female Holly is affectionate, tender hearted and a goofy gal. She too isn't very trained, but highly inquisitive and persistent. Although she is a mixed livestock guardian breed we do not feel she has been destined to live up to that job, she also dislikes chickens, much like her sister Sophie. Holly we feel, could transition into a home with another female dog of the same temperament, or go home with her sister Sophie. She could also do well going to a home where she is the only pet - no cats or small mammals. She hasn't been on a leash long, but we can definitely see she will adapt quickly. Her manners are lacking, and she doesn't show signs of knowing basic commands, obedience training could work, but we also feel that a dog savvy owner with the time to put into her could likely train her just as well.
