HIRING PARCEL DELIVERY DRIVERS

Job: The delivery associate/ driver position, or DA, loads and drives company cargo vans to deliver parcels/ packages to homes and businesses. The role is fast paced, and our drivers deliver approx. 150 packages a day. This is a good role for someone who likes driving, likes to be busy, and likes to work independently. You will also need to be able to safely lift 50 pounds regularly and meet the physical demands of the role (carry items up flights of stairs, bend, squat, kneel, twist neck and waist frequently). It is a very physically active role. Basic Requirements: • Have a valid B.C class 5 driver’s licence with less than 7 points • Current driver’s abstract • Ability to deliver approx.. 150 packages per day • Morning (Cycle 1 shift) • Start Time (8:45AM TO 6:45PM) • Afternoon (Cycle 2 Shift) • Start Time (11:45AM TO 8:45PM) • Available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s • Ability to work 10-11-hour shifts; agree to hour averaging (3 days off per week) • Ability to safely operate a full-size cargo van, and troubleshoot vehicle issues if needed • Ability to work and drive in Greater Vancouver weather conditions • Follow strict safety standards on and off the road • Experience using smart phone / android devices • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada • Ability to speak English fluently; read and write reports • Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted • Be physically fit to carry items up flights of stairs, bend, squat, kneel, twist neck and waist frequently • Must pass criminal record background check If you’re interested, please email us at ops@er247L.com with your Resume and Drivers Abstract
