Commercial Flooring Installer

Beatty Floors Ltd is seeking a Commercial Flooring Installer to join our team. Greater Vancouver area, BC Permanent, Full-time; 40 hours per week Salary: $25.00 per hour Duties: • Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered; • Install Under-Cushion, Cork & Acoustical Sound Barrier – under specific floorcoverings; • Prepare and install hardwood floors; • Install Soft Flooring – Rolled Commercial Linoleum Sheet, Carpet Tile, Luxury Vinyl Plank, Carpet/Broadloom; • Use a laser level to identify elevation changes; • Repair damaged concrete substrate by mixing and applying cementitious patch; • Install plywood substrate – glue and screw as required; • Spread adhesives using trowel, install tack strip around perimeter; • Heat weld all linoleum seams and flash cove; • Perform finishing duties to ensure quality of work. Requirements: • Minimum three years of previous work experience in a related field; • English language ability is required; • Must have expert knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the trade; Education: Secondary school.
