Canadalin Consulting Inc. is hiring 2 International student service counsellor Wage: $43.50/Hourly, 30-40 hours per week Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Job Title: International student service counsellor (NOC 41320) Work Location: 800 Yates St,Victoria, BC V8W 0B6 Duties: • Counsel international students regarding educational issues and career issues. • Guide students in choosing courses and programs aligned with their interests and career goals. • Assist in creating effective timetables, addressing school adjustments, and improving study skills. • Help tackle attendance issues with understanding and support, finding solutions to any underlying challenges. • Listening to students' academic, emotional, social, and behavioral concerns in an open way. • Working directly with students to develop solutions and set achievable goals. • Providing one-on-one career guidance and skills assessment to assist with career development. • Helping students to prepare for admissions applications and tests. • Aid in exploring various career paths through assessments and discussions Requirements: Work Experience: at least 2 years or higher of experience in related position Language: English Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in counselling, career development, education, social sciences and related field.
