Turkey - Domestic Short Hair Cat

Shelter: BC SPCA - Richmond Animal ID: 478062 Birthdate: July 27, 2018 - Kitten Spayed/Neutered: Yes Male Turkey is a handsome young gent who was pretty scared of people when he first came into care at the BC SPCA. He's come a long way after spending some time in foster care to work on his socialization but still can be quite timid and anxious initially with strangers. With some time to adjust he's shown his very playful and mischievous side along with his sweet and loving side. Turkey needs a guardian(s) who is prepared to continue his journey of confidence building in a home environment. He would likely do best in a bit of a quieter home without any young children. He absolutely loves other cats and having a friendly cat in the home who doesn't mind cat cuddles and who could show him the ropes would be the best thing for him. He may possibly be able to get used to dogs if they aren't too rambunctious or intimidating. Because he's still timid of people he may be prone to hiding at first but pretty soon his curiosity will win out and he'll be climbing and exploring. Once he's getting pets he has a major purr machine and loves attention but it will take him awhile to trust someone and seek out the attention. He may play hard to get initially but with lots of love, patience, and time we know Turkey will develop into a wonderful and loving companion who will make a a great addition to a home. Also he loves spring toys and will keep you entertained with his playful antics.
