Skilled Construction Labourer - Multi Storey Wood Frame

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Skilled Construction Labourer to join our growing team in Langford, BC! The Skilled Construction Labourer will: * Perform work as directed by the Site Supervisor * Responsible to the Site Supervisor: o Being on site as directed by the Site Supervisor o Ensuring time off (holidays and other appointments) are approved by the Site Supervisor * Perform work as directed by the Site Supervisor, to include but not limited to: o Digging o Cleaning o Pickup and delivery of material o Direct and control street traffic o Painting o Work using a ladder o Work using safety equipment o General carpentry * Follow all safety precautions as directed by the Site Supervisor * Receive and verify deliveries and record findings to Site Supervisor as per the employer policy The ideal candidate should have: * some construction experience * clean and tidy appearance * good communication skills * intermediate English skills * carpentry skills and knowledge in plumbing and electrical an asset but not required The ideal candidate will also be: * be punctual and reliable * self-motivated and driven * able to follow instructions * able to work while unsupervised With more than 20 years in construction experience, DB Services is a leader in urban development and community enhancement.
