Shelter: BC SPCA - Vancouver Animal ID: 489503 Birthdate: June 10, 2009 - Senior Spayed/Neutered: Yes Female Safi is a gorgeous, sweet (with a dash of spice) senior gal looking for her fur-ever retirement home! Safi would do best in a quiet, cat savvy adult home as she can get overwhelmed by loud noises and lots of people, though she has really come out of her shell at the shelter. Safi will bond strongly with her people but can be wary initially and will need a patient, loving guardian who is willing to build her trust. Once this sweet lady is comfortable, she will take all the pets and all the love she can get. She is very loving and affectionate though does have limits and will let you know if she doesn't like being petted a certain way. Safi has a sensitive tummy and previously had a history of some issues with her anal glands which is helped by permanently being on a wet food only diet. Like any animal proper diet and regular yearly vet exams will help her stay healthy and happy. She has not had any experiences with living with other animals, so would likely be most comfortable as the lone queen reigning in her castle. She is not a fan of children.
